Who’s Feeding the Folks? 

I had a very detailed dream and, although a bit startled, it confirmed what I had already seen among today’s churches.  I was in a large open field on a beautiful sunny day.  Dozens of folks were sitting at picnic tables, standing around, socializing, etc.  I knew the crowd was from a church.  I told myself “This is nice!” and I picked up a knife and serving fork to cut a piece of meat on a platter.  I turned a slab over but it was basically all fat.  Scattered on the plate were tiny bits of meat (not enough for even one good bite).  I went to other tables – the same thing!  This illustrated many of today’s churches, offering social activities but very little meat (the Word of God).
